About Us

Centre for Acadamy and People's Development Society (CAPDS) is an autonomous, Non-profit, Non political and Non Governmental Organization.

  • History

    CAPDS was registered on April 3rd, in the year 2006 under the Societies Registration Act of 35 introduced in year 2001.

  • Purpose

    The sole purpose of creating CAPDS is to provide rural education, human resource development and bringing awareness to people on various societal issues.

  • Light up life

    Our main aim is to usher the light on the lives of rural angency area. The people in these areas are innocent, illeterate, malnutritioned, untouchables, tribals, daliths and also lot of child labour. To make these people brilliant, literate, healthy, removing untouchability, develop them and make them competent in each and every event.

  • Equality

    The power, resources and fruits of development should be shared equally by all people, especially weaker section of the society. Up-liftment of woman, eradication of child labour from the society are on priority.

What we do

AWARENESS PROGRAMMES

We organize awareness programmes on Right to Information Act, Right to education Act, Child Rights, Human Rights, Human trafficking, Child-Women Welfare, Gender-Disparity, Environmental protection and many more on range of societal issues.

TRAINING PROGRAMMES

Training programmes on replantation, new methods of cultivation, preparation of natural fertilizers, Health and nutrition, developing self-help groups, vana samrakshana samithis, making of decorative articles and agarbathi sticks.

HEALTH CAMPS

Conducting health camps for people in rural and agency areas on life threatening desieses, cataract, mal-nutrition people, blood camps etc. We are working tirelessly, since the inception of CAPDS, to make people aware on Health and Nutrition of the poor and needy.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Re-Forestation in place of Deforestation has been main objective of CAPDS for its important nature and its influence on rural poor community. We are making plantations on regular basis with people of rural areas and making them understand its importance.

CAPDS is 12A, 80G and FCRA certified organization and has won many awards for its dedicated work to bring awareness in marginalized society.
